After the debates this past week, how could the guys not talk about voting! We learned that J is pretty apathetic and Ross is completely so! This led to some great discussion not only live but which continued afterward in the SomaCow Media Green Room.
This is a tough subject for me. I absolutely believe you have the right to vote, but it drives me batshit insane when someone doesn’t vote! Oh, my vote doesn’t count…Oh I don’t believe in the process…Oh no one represents me anyway. Bullshit. If you don’t like the system then VOTE someone else in! Get out there, stand on the street corner, make your voice heard not only through that opening in your head but also through the person you get to represent you! And if the other person wins, then always talk to your representative! They still represent you! Sure, you have the right not to vote and some might even say you still have the right to complain afterward but don’t do it around me! I have the right to kick you in the private parts, don’t I? Oh, Congressman!
Speaking of private parts and other lighter news, Howard Stern got married, OJ was arrested, and some old lady shot herself and got a free home out of it.
And rounding out the hour, some kid… a 7 year old!… went into a zoo and fed animals from said zoo to a crocodile! What is WRONG with kids today? It made me think, what could I be doing, or not doing, to Rowan right now that would trigger such awful behavior. Yeah, at 7 I would totally still blame the parents. That is one fucked up kid they made.
