Some of us are lucky enough to surround ourselves with positive, supportive people who make us feel better about who we are, while others of us work at SomaCow.

Don’t get me wrong, the hosts and staff here are great, as far as that goes. They just aren’t well-acquainted with ego boosting. Rarely have I arrived at the studio to hear Mickey say “Have you been working out?”, primarily because I have not been working out. But that is not the point. Would it KILL Geoff to throw out a little ass compliment from time to time? Nothing earth-shattering, just a “You know J, I could walk behind you all day without getting bored” or something.

Well, an organization that DOES know how to toot a man’s horn is Playgirl (”Want to connect? We’re semi-erect!”). And I am immense and proud to announce that Playgirl has selected me as their “Man of the Month” for August of 2008.
